A murder investigation is underway after a 19-year-old man was fatally stabbed in a car park in Market Street, Bury. The incident, which took place at around 9:00 pm on Friday, was witnessed by several people, according to Greater Manchester Police. The victim sustained multiple wounds during the attack.
Following the stabbing, three 19-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of murder. Two were apprehended in Bury and Bolton on Saturday night, while the third was taken into custody at Manchester Airport early Sunday morning. Detective Chief Inspector John Charlton described the incident as a targeted attack, emphasizing that there is no broader threat to the public.
