The beloved stars of the original BBC children’s show Balamory are set to reprise their iconic roles in a brand new series scheduled to air next year. Julie Wilson Nimmo will return as the nursery teacher Miss Hoolie, Andrew Agnew as PC Plum, Kim Tserkezie as Penny Pocket, and Juliet Cadzow as Edie McCredie for the reboot on CBeebies. Inspired by the real Scottish town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, the original hit show aired in the early 2000s and captured the hearts of children worldwide. The upcoming series will introduce a fresh set of characters, including scientist and inventor Ava Potts portrayed by Danielle Jam, local vet Dr. Ollie played by Carl Spencer, and the harbour master portrayed by William Andrews. Filming is scheduled to take place both in a studio in Glasgow and on location in Tobermory.
