Following a recent review into the culture of the BBC, several staff members have been fired, as confirmed by the corporation. Lineker recently signed off from Match of the Day after 26 years and a controversial social media post, while Zoe Ball transitioned from the Radio 2 breakfast show to Saturday afternoons. Other revelations from the report include an increase in the license fee income, a decline in households paying the fee, and public perception of the BBC’s effectiveness in providing impartial and accurate news
