The city of Glasgow is currently hosting the TRNSMT music festival amidst a weekend-long heatwave. With up to 50,000 people expected each day, Scotland’s largest festival is taking place at Glasgow Green over three days. The headliners for the event are 50 Cent on Friday, followed by rockers Biffy Clyro on Saturday, and Snow Patrol on Sunday. The temperature reached 27C on the first day of the festival, with even higher temperatures forecasted for the rest of the weekend.
The festival staff at TRNSMT are providing sun cream to attendees as they enjoy the music and activities. Opening the festival on Friday was Calum Bowie from Banchory, setting the stage for a lineup of talented acts.
