Oasis mural at St Davids: Timelapse shows 3,000 hats turned into art

An artist is experiencing physical discomfort in his hands after completing a unique portrait of Liam and Noel Gallagher using 3,000 black and white bucket hats in preparation for the band’s upcoming reunion tour. The Gallagher brothers are scheduled to perform their first live show together in over 16 years at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on 4 July.

Nathan Wyburn, the 35-year-old artist behind the creation, expressed his pride in the iconic duo’s decision to kick off their highly anticipated reunion in Wales. He remarked, “The fact that one of the biggest duos in history are getting back together, I feel like it’s my duty as an artist to create something for that.”

The massive mural, measuring at 16 feet (4.9m) in size, has been affectionately named the “Wonder Wall” and was unveiled during a pre-gig celebration at St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff. The intricate artwork showcases the Gallagher brothers in a striking display of creativity and dedication to their musical legacy.
