A teenage boy, Mylo Capilla, who had been reported missing has been found deceased by search teams near the River Tees. Mylo, aged 13, was last seen at the “Muddies” area in Ingleby Barwick, Teesside on Thursday evening around 9:00 PM. Cleveland Police, along with partner agencies, were conducting the search operation when the body of the young boy was discovered.
Although formal identification is yet to be completed, Mylo’s parents have been informed about the tragic discovery and are receiving support from trained officers. The community of Ingleby Barwick described the “Muddies” as a popular spot for children and youngsters to play along the riverbank. The search efforts involved specialized teams using police drones, search dogs, and assistance from Cleveland Fire Brigade, marine water, and mountain rescue units.
Local residents expressed their willingness to assist in the search, but authorities urged the public to stay clear of the search area near the river. The community came together to offer their support and prayers for Mylo’s family during this difficult time.
