Following an incident on Water Street in Liverpool city center after LFC’s title parade, Council Leader, Cllr Liam Robinson, released a statement expressing his sympathy and concern for those involved. Cllr Robinson commended the emergency services for their swift response in aiding those injured and praised the NHS staff for their care in treating them at the hospital. The council is collaborating closely with Merseyside Police to assist in the investigation, working alongside other relevant organizations to ensure that those impacted receive the necessary support. He urged the public not to share any distressing footage of the incident on social media and to instead forward any information to Merseyside Police to aid in their probe.
