Larry Lamb, known for his role as Mick Shipman on the popular BBC show Gavin and Stacey, has shared that there are no plans for a reboot of the series. Despite initial hopes of a return after filming the Christmas special last year, Lamb has come to terms with the fact that it was indeed the end. The journey will kick off in Billericay and end in Barry at Marcos’ cafe, with stops at various bookstores along the way for Lamb to share excerpts from his novel.
Reflecting on the success of the Christmas episode, which garnered over 19.11 million views, Lamb commended the final installment as a “masterpiece.” He specifically highlighted the memorable wedding scene as a standout moment, attributing its closure to the talented creators, Ruth and James.
