The Africa Rising Music Conference has officially released its schedule for the upcoming fifth edition set to take place on May 22 to 23 at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg. The event will feature a variety of panels, talks, workshops, and performances aimed at highlighting the African music industry.

Additionally, an AlphaTheta DJ workshop will be led by Rarri, Ms Party, and Lelowhatsgood.

Panel discussions and keynotes will cover important topics such as Elevating Women & Non-Binary Artists in South Africa’s Dance Music Scene, SAMPRA Development Fund, Audiomack’s impact on music discovery in Africa, and tips on how to garner media attention featuring Mixmag’s Global Editorial Director Nick DeCosemo. Artists and industry professionals like Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Msaki, Gigi Lamayne, Jack Parow, and others will also be participating in the conference.

The ARMC Demo Lab is set to launch in 2025, providing a platform for music tech and lifestyle brands to showcase their products and offer hands-on testing and networking opportunities. Additionally, Mamas in Music, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting mothers in the music industry, will be highlighted at this year’s event.

Interested attendees can attend panel discussions and keynotes for free, but access to workshops, networking sessions, and VIP areas require the purchase of an ARMC VIP Ticket. VIP tickets and two-day conference passes are available for purchase on the ARMC website. For more information, visit africarisingmusicconference.com
