Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has said his party could offer “real change” to Wales, claiming that the current political system has “failed the people”.
Farage, who is also a former leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), has been critical of both the Labour and Conservative parties, accusing them of not listening to the concerns of ordinary people.
Reform UK’s manifesto includes pledges to reduce the size and cost of government, cut taxes and regulations, and strengthen the Welsh economy through free-market policies.
The party’s rise in the polls has been seen as a sign of growing dissatisfaction with the traditional parties in Wales, and could potentially shake up the political landscape in the upcoming election.
With just a few months to go until the election, all eyes will be on Welsh politics to see how the parties fare and whether there will be any major upsets in the Senedd.
