During the 2025 series of Traitors, Shannon gained popularity as the longest-standing traitor on the show. Despite her strong run, she was ultimately eliminated just two days before the final round. Shannon currently works as a call centre manager in Liverpool and resides with her husband Liam and daughter Luna.

In the upcoming month of June, Lauren Redfern will take over the Friday Early Breakfast slot on Radio 1. Redfern, who joined the Radio 1 Anthems extension in late 2024 and demonstrated her talent through the Student Radio Association network, will kick off her hosting duties on 6 June.
