The Metropolitan Police has confirmed that a body found in the River Thames belongs to 11-year-old Kaliyah Coa, who had been missing in east London for over a month. According to the police statement, Kaliyah had attended a birthday party but failed to return home afterward. Her remains were discovered at Maritime Quay on the Isle of Dogs on 13 April. Kaliyah was reported missing on 31 March after last being seen playing near Barge House Causeway in Woolwich during a school inset day.
