The cyber attack on Harrods comes amidst ongoing issues for other retailers like Marks & Spencer, which has been grappling with a cyber attack affecting its operations and causing significant losses in sales. Similarly, the Co-op recently had to shut down parts of its IT systems to safeguard against a hacking attempt. Furthermore, reports have surfaced that employees are being required to keep their cameras on during remote meetings to verify attendees, indicating concerns of possible hackers infiltrating the calls.
