The London Marathon witnessed a touching display of love and remembrance as the fathers of two young girls tragically killed in the Southport attack honored their daughters by participating in the prestigious race. Sergio Aguiar crossed the finish line after a grueling endurance test, completing the marathon in a time of four hours and five minutes. Meanwhile, David Stancombe showcased his resilience and commitment by finishing the race in four hours and 28 minutes. The arduous 26.2 mile (42.2km) course was a symbolic journey for the fathers, who carried the memories of their daughters every step of the way.
Among the spectators cheering on the dedicated fathers were Bebe King’s parents, Lauren and Ben King.
