Fyre Festival 2, the much-anticipated follow-up to the infamous 2017 event, has hit another roadblock as it has been officially postponed. Scheduled to take place in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, ticketholders received the disappointing news just weeks before the festival was set to kick off. These ongoing obstacles have cast doubt on the feasibility of Fyre Festival 2 moving forward as planned.
Ticket sales for the festival went live in February, with prices ranging from $1,400 to a staggering $1.1 million. Despite the high demand for tickets, doubts about the event’s success lingered among potential performers. DJ Donna Francesca, who was approached to play at the festival, raised concerns about the lack of information and excitement surrounding Fyre Festival 2.
