The Prodigy showcase laser tribute to Keith Flint at Coachella

During their performance at Coachella on Friday night, April 11, The Prodigy honored their late frontman, Keith Flint. A laser outline of Flint was projected as stage visuals while the group played ‘Firestarter’, featuring recordings of the iconic performer’s vocals. Flint tragically passed away at age 49 in 2019, and his suicide was mourned by many in the music industry, including Skrillex, Andy C, Charlotte de Witte, and Elton John.

Headlining the Mojave tent, The Prodigy delivered a 14-track set led by original members Liam Howlett and Maxim. The performance opened with their 1996 UK Number One hit, ‘Breathe’. Fans can watch the full set on Coachella’s YouTube channel, which is currently streaming recordings from the festival’s first weekend. The band’s dedication to Flint was evident throughout their dynamic set.
