​Teen sentenced to life in prison following Catford nightclub murder

A young adult, aged 19, has been given a life sentence for the murder of a man outside Silks nightclub in Catford in March 2024. Tyler Roberts-Emmanuel was sentenced at the Old Bailey by judge Sarah Plaschkes KC after a trial that lasted a month. The teenager was found guilty of shooting 30-year-old Shaquille Graham at close range after waiting for him outside the south London club for 20 minutes. The court was informed that Roberts-Emmanuel had meticulously planned the murder, even conducting a practice run on a scooter just hours before the fatal incident occurred in the early hours of March 10, 2024.

The motivation behind the attack remains unclear, despite the premeditated nature of the crime being highlighted during the court proceedings.
