A wildfire broke out in Galloway, prompting the evacuation of people and properties as emergency services rushed to the scene. The blaze initially started in Glen Trool late Friday night and continued to spread north throughout Saturday. Helicopters were deployed to help combat the flames, with authorities warning that the fire could reach the Loch Doon area in East Ayrshire.
