The tragic incident occurred as he was walking back home in Warrington on February 24, as stated by Cheshire Police. His injuries from the attack were severe, leading to his eventual death in the hospital on a Sunday, with his family receiving support from specialized officers during this difficult time.
Previously, Sean Garner, a 30-year-old individual from Liverpool, had been charged in connection to the incident. He faced charges related to owning a dangerously out-of-control dog, causing serious injury, and possessing a fighting dog.
