Sully’s latest track, ‘Model Collapse’, has made its debut on the Official UK Top 40 singles chart, entering at Number 39. The jungle producer released this track through fabric’s newly established FABRICLIVE imprint on March 14. This release marks the first one for FABRICLIVE since announcing the launch of their in-house label in December 2024.
In the chart for the week of March 21-27, ‘Model Collapse’ secured the 39th spot, surpassing Billie Eilish’s ‘Birds of a Feather’, which currently holds the 40th position. Even though Sully has not made any official comments about his success on the UK Top 40 chart, fabric Records took to their Instagram story to share the news, expressing their excitement about “Acid jungle hitting UK Top 40!!!”.
The inspiration behind ‘Model Collapse’ comes from Sully’s experiences in the free party scene, as stated in the description of the double single. Pulling elements from techstep, acid rave, and the golden era of jungle and drum ‘n’ bass, both ‘Model Collapse’ and its b-side ‘The Wash’ offer a nostalgic journey into the genre. The track is available for digital purchase as well as a limited edition vinyl release through FABRICLIVE.
For those interested in exploring Sully’s ‘Model Collapse’ further, you can find it digitally and purchase the limited edition vinyl on FABRICLIVE’s platform. Don’t miss out on this exciting addition to the UK Top 40 chart and immerse yourself in Sully’s unique sounds
