The Capital Breakfast Show presenter and former BBC Radio 1 host shared in a social media post that he had surgery and underwent chemotherapy, which he believes has effectively cured him as the disease was caught early. Stark mentioned that he took some time off work for treatment but will be returning to his radio duties soon.
The 38-year-old Stark disclosed that the cancer was discovered during a routine doctor’s visit a few months ago. Following the diagnosis, he promptly underwent surgery and received chemotherapy. He admitted feeling foolish for not recognizing the symptoms sooner but emphasized the importance of early detection in treating the disease. Stark hopes that by sharing his experience, he can encourage other men to check themselves regularly and seek medical advice if they suspect anything unusual.
