A man who was in a precarious situation was rescued from Loch Lomond after a lifeboat crew responded to his calls for help. The man was discovered in the water near Balmaha in the early hours of Sunday, shortly after midnight. The Loch Lomond Rescue Boat had been conducting a search around Inchcailloch Island after being enlisted by Police Scotland to assist with the operation.
