Adam Beyer announces first album since 2002, ‘Explorer Vol.1’

Renowned techno artist Adam Beyer has recently announced the upcoming release of his first album in more than twenty years. Titled ‘Explorer Vol.1’, this album is scheduled to be launched under the Drumcode label in June. This marks Beyer’s return to a full-length EP format since his last release, ‘Ignition Key’, back in 2002.

Accompanying the announcement of the album, Adam Beyer has also unveiled the first single and title track, ‘Explorer’. The track is described as a powerful peak-time anthem featuring intense basslines and a haunting vocal asking the question, “So whatchu gonna do?”. Beyer has shared that the inspiration behind this new record comes from various aspects of his own mind, including his interests in sci-fi, the artistic journey, and more.

Fans will have to wait until the summer to experience the entire album, but the revealed tracklist includes collaborations with prominent artists such as Coco Francavilla, Julian Jeweil, Max Styler, Kyozo, HNTR, and more. ‘Explorer Vol.1’ by Adam Beyer is set to be released on June 13 under Drumcode.
