The track, titled ‘Drums’, was released on Tuesday, March 18, as part of Planet Mu’s 30th-anniversary compilation album, featuring 25 songs from various artists within the label’s roster and beyond. The single showcases Venetian Snares’ signature style, with 808 snares, modular synthwork, and energetic break samples.
Planet Mu’s full V/A compilation is scheduled to be released on May 9, marking 30 years since the label’s inception in 1995. The album will include contributions from Jlin, Traxman, Slikback, RP Boo, DJ Manny, Jana Rush, DJ Girl, Luke Vibert, Elmoe, and more.
