Taiki Nulight reworks NERO’s 2010 cult classic ‘Innocence’

A fresh take on NERO’s 2010 dubstep hit ‘Innocence’ has been unveiled by Mongolian-British producer Taiki Nulight. The new track, titled ‘Innocence 2025’, pays homage to the original while injecting a contemporary dubstep twist by toning down the basslines. Taiki expressed his admiration for the original track, stating, “I grew up listening to ‘Innocence’. For NERO to put their name on this is the ultimate blessing.”

Initially released in 2010 as the lead single from NERO’s debut album ‘Welcome Reality’, ‘Innocence’ gained recognition by reaching number 15 on the independent releases chart and number 16 on the dance music chart. The reimagined version, ‘Innocence 2025’, has garnered support from industry heavyweights like Skrillex and NERO themselves, who have incorporated the track into their recent performances in the UK and US.

In light of the track’s release, Taiki Nulight has announced a four-date UK tour scheduled to commence on April 3, with stops in Leeds, Bristol, Brighton, and London. While currently touring North America with shows in Orlando, Chicago, Toronto, Washington, and New York, Taiki Nulight is set to return to the UK next month for the much-anticipated tour.

Fans can catch Taiki Nulight live at various venues across the UK, including a show at a Secret Location in London on April 3, followed by performances in Leeds, Bristol, and Brighton.
