A 33-year-old teacher named Judith Evans from Elmwood Grove in Newtownabbey has been sentenced to two years in prison and placed on the sex offenders register for life for her crimes against a teenage pupil. Evans also confessed to perverting the course of justice by falsely accusing the teenager of sexually assaulting her between June 13 and 27, 2024. At the time of the crimes, she was employed as a teacher at Belfast Boys Model School.
