Five Star singer Stedman Pearson dies aged 60

Annabel Rackham, a Culture reporter, reports that Stedman Pearson, a member of the British pop group Five Star, has passed away at the age of 60, as announced by his family. In 1987, the five siblings were honored with a Brit Award for Best British Group.

Stedman also made appearances on television shows such as Channel 5’s The All Star Talent Show in 2006 and BBC Three’s Celebrity Scissorhands in 2008. Born in Romford, Essex, Stedman was the oldest among his siblings, and their father Buster Pearson, who was also a singer, formed the band in 1983. His family described him as a gentleman till the end and paid tribute to his memory and the love he shared with the world
