Cheltenham Racecourse saw a dusting of snow as preparations for the second day of The Festival got underway. Despite the wintry weather, there were no reported disruptions to travel in the area. Traffic monitoring website Inrix confirmed no disturbances, and CCTV footage from the M5 showed snowflakes settling gently on fields. The Jockey Club reassured the public that there were no planned inspections due to the snowfall, allowing the festivities to proceed as scheduled.
As the snow continued to fall, horses were brought out to warm up on the grounds, creating a picturesque and serene moment at Cheltenham Racecourse. The weather forecast indicated that the snowfall would continue until approximately 09:00 GMT, followed by brisk northerly winds.
