Acts taking to the stage on day 2 of Big Weekend announced

Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2025 is set to be a star-studded event, with Aitch, AJ Tracey, Inhaler, Wolf Alice, and more joining the lineup for performances on Saturday, May 24th. This year’s headliner for the Main Stage is BRIT winner Sam Fender, with Myles Smith and Blossoms also taking the stage.

The festival, taking place in Sefton Park, Liverpool from May 23rd to May 25th, is expected to draw over 100,000 music fans. The lineup for Saturday includes artists like Blossoms, Myles Smith, Sam Fender, Tom Odell, and Wolf Alice, performing on the Radio 1 Main Stage. On the Radio 1 New Music Stage, attendees can expect performances from Aitch b2b AJ Tracey, Artemas, Good Neighbours, Inhaler, and Jordan Adetunji.

Tickets for Radio 1’s Big Weekend will go on sale on Thursday, March 13th, priced at £33 plus a £4.50 booking fee per ticket. As in previous years, ticket allocation will be weighted geographically, with 50 percent reserved for Liverpool residents, 40 percent for surrounding areas, and 10 percent for the rest of the UK. The booking process will be handled exclusively by Ticketmaster, the official ticketing agent for the event.

The festival serves as the kickoff to the UK’s festival season, bringing both local and international artists to cities that may not typically host such large-scale events. This year, BBC Radio 1 is collaborating closely with Liverpool City Council to ensure a safe and secure environment for all attendees. The event will be broadcast live on Radio 1’s iPlayer channel and BBC Sounds, offering fans the opportunity to experience the performances in real-time
