Three men charged with harassment of BBC presenter

Three individuals linked to a group that was under scrutiny following a BBC investigation have now faced charges of harassing the show’s host, Catrin Nye. The accused individuals, namely Kristofer Alexander Deichler, Jatinder Singh Kamra, and Sukhraj Bir Singh, have been charged with harassment without violence during a specific period between the end of August and the beginning of September 2024. The trio are known to be associated with Lighthouse, a group that was the focal point of the podcast and TV documentary “A Very British Cult” released in 2023.

After being detained in London in the previous month of September, the three individuals have been out on bail since the arrest. Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, no specific date has been scheduled for the court hearing as of now. The aforementioned BBC podcast and television documentary shed light on the activities of the Lighthouse International Group, which eventually rebranded itself as Lighthouse Global. Originating as a life coaching organization under the leadership of Paul Waugh, the group has been the subject of public attention due to its controversial practices
