Dungannon: Second man arrested on suspicion of pensioner's murder

A tragic incident occurred in Dungannon, Northern Ireland, where a man was found seriously injured in a block of flats on the edge of the Lisnahull estate. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a call about the incident at 20:13 GMT and promptly dispatched a rapid response paramedic, two emergency crews, and an advanced paramedic to the scene. Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries and the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is treating his death as a murder. Supt Peter Stevenson confirmed that the victim was found seriously injured on the living room floor of the property.

Following the tragic event, mourners gathered outside the block of flats to pay their respects, leaving candles and other tributes in memory of the deceased. The community came together in solidarity as more than 100 people attended a vigil near the area where the man lived.
