Wu-Tang Clan has disclosed that they will be embarking on their final tour, titled Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber, starting this summer in North America. The tour is scheduled to begin on June 6 at Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena, with the iconic hip hop group performing in stadiums and arenas across the country for six weeks. Run The Jewels, composed of Killer Mike and El-P, will be accompanying Wu-Tang Clan at every stop on the tour as the opening act.
RZA, the de facto frontman of Wu-Tang Clan, expressed his excitement about the upcoming tour, stating, “This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture.” He also mentioned that they will be performing songs they have never played before for their fans and have designed a Wu-Tang show like never seen before. The final tour announcement comes more than thirty years after Wu-Tang Clan first started performing as a group and is expected to feature all surviving members, including RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna, alongside late rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son, Young Dirty Bastard.
According to The New York Times, Wu-Tang Clan is planning to showcase their legacy with the Final Chamber tour, as part of a broader strategy that includes a documentary series and a Las Vegas residency. The tour is set to visit a total of 27 cities in North America, including major locations like New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, Houston, and many more.
