The inspiration for the album came from a quote by Patti Smith that resonated with DJrum, leading to a creative rebirth for the artist.
This upcoming album showcases DJrum’s return to his roots as a child prodigy instrumentalist, incorporating elements such as piano, harp, and more into emotionally charged hybrid soundscapes that blend dancefloor impact with his knack for soundsystem culture. The album’s lead single, ‘Three Foxes Chasing Each Other,’ features intricate wood chimes that transition into machine gun-like percussion and rhythmic experimentation, setting the tone for the overall album’s aesthetic.
