Musician Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing yet another accusation of sexual assault, amidst a spate of allegations. A new court filing claims that Diddy raped a man, aged 17, in a New York nightclub in 2012. According to the plaintiff, he was given multiple vodka shots and started to feel hazy and disoriented, with a loss of control over his body. He alleges that Diddy then raped him in a back room of the club, while he was falling in and out of consciousness.
These allegations are part of more than 30 civil lawsuits against Diddy relating to sexual assault and other sex-related crimes. More than 100 people in total have accused the musician of sexual misconduct. His lawyer, Tony Buzbee, has said that more than 10 new lawsuits will be issued against him soon. Diddy is presently being held in jail ahead of a federal criminal trial that charges him with racketeering, sex trafficking by force and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Diddy has consistently denied all the allegations against him, and his lawyer stated in his defence that the “truth will prevail”. However, the allegations continue to circulate and fuel an ongoing feud between Diddy and hip-hop artist 50 Cent. 50 Cent is preparing a documentary series on the sexual assault allegations against his long-term adversary, entitled Diddy Do It?
