Shygirl has teamed up with PinkPantheress and Isabella Lovestory for her latest single “True Religion” which features on her upcoming EP, ‘Club Shy Room 2’. The upcoming EP is the spiritual successor to Shy’s ‘Club Shy’ released last year. The London-based artist will collaborate with Mura Masa and Oscar Scheller with “guest appearances” from Blue May and Nick León. The third single for her upcoming EP is the already-released tracks “Immaculate” featuring Saweetie, and “F*Me” in collaboration with Yseult.
“True Religion” is the result of mixing Shygirl’s signature seductive tenor with PinkPantheress’ sugary-sweet vocals and Isabella Lovestory’s edgy reggaeton influence. The single exemplifies Shygirl’s ability to combine classic club sounds with contemporary music.
The EP is set to release on 28th February and includes features from other artists like Jorja Smith, SadBoi, and Canadian producer, BAMBII. Fans can pre-save the EP on the official website.
Shygirl’s multifaceted approach to music is evident in her straightforward yet sophisticated sounds. She takes classic club sounds and breathes new life into them, distinguishing herself as a versatile artist. “True Religion” is the perfect example of Shygirl’s ability to combine separate styles.
