GALA festival, South London’s biggest independent music festival, has announced its lineup for 2025. The three-day event will take place over the May bank holiday weekend at Peckham Rye, and will include performances from artists like Floating Points, Caribou, Moodymann, Hudson Mohawke, and Avalon Emerson. Detroit DJ and producer Theo Parrish will also be playing an eight-hour open-to-close set to kick off the weekend, while Pearson Sound, Horse Meat Disco, Michelle Manetti, Calibre, Courtesy, Amaliah, Batu, Kikelomo, and Benji B b2b Judah round out the bill.
Since its inception in 2016 as a 3,000-person show, GALA festival has come a long way and now attracts around 30,000 attendees each year. The festival has grown into a massive 10th-anniversary event, and it promises to be one of the best yet. Returning partners include NTS, Deviation soundsystem, Rush Hour, Jumbi, Horse Meat Disco, BORN N BREAD, Refuge Worldwide, and Nicholas Daley’s Woven Rhythms, who will all be featured at the event.
Director of GALA and RALLY festivals Giles Napier expressed his joy at being a part of the ten-year club and attributed the festival’s success to the diversity of the artists who perform there. He also expressed his gratitude for everyone who has supported the festival over the years, and invited people to sign up for presale tickets, which will go live on Friday, January 31 at 10 AM GMT.
