The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) has warned that the 31 December 2029 could be the UK’s “last night out” as 37% of clubs have closed in the past four years alone. This comes as the proposed development of a six-storey luxury flat block in Hackney could place East London venues Netil 360 and NT’s Loft at risk. The building would overlook the smoking area and outdoor terraces of the venues. Owners have asked for public support to stop the project pointing to other closures of venues for similar reasons
