Following a fatal stabbing onboard a London bus on 7 January, two teenagers have been charged with the murder of 14-year-old Kelyan Bokassa. The victim was attacked in Woolwich and was declared dead shortly afterwards.
Two teenagers, a 15-year-old from Woolwich and a 16-year-old from Plumstead have been charged with the murder, according to the Metropolitan Police. They have been imprisoned and will appear in Bromley Magistrates’ Court later.
A 44-year-old woman, who was initially arrested for helping an offender, has been released under investigation. Medics arrived at the scene shortly after the police were alerted of the stabbing on the Woolwich Church Street bound Route 472 bus. The victim’s family is being backed by specially trained officers.
