Five British teenagers have been sentenced to jail for beating and stabbing a transgender student. The group ambushed the victim in a car park in north-west London on 10 February 2020. They had lured her there under the pretence of going to a roller disco at Harrow Leisure Centre. The group then carried out a pre-planned 45 seconds attack, during which the victim sustained multiple injuries. The group pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Summer Betts-Ramsey was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years’ detention in a young offenders institute. Bradley Harris, Shiloh Hindes, and Camron Osei were each ordered to serve three years in detention for their roles. A 17-year-old boy was given a youth rehabilitation order, a three-month curfew, and told not to enter Harrow or contact any of the other defendants.
