Police in North Yorkshire are asking for information from witnesses about a car crash that happened just before a serving police officer and a member of the public were killed by an HGV. The teenager is being treated in hospital but is said to be stable.
North Yorkshire Police are asking for any witnesses who saw the first crash to come forward. Detective Inspector Jill Cowling said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of Rosie and Ryan and we are doing all we can to support them at this incredibly difficult time. A thorough and complex investigation is underway and any information, no matter how small, is helpful.”
