Police are seeking the public’s help to find two sisters from Aberdeen who were last seen in the early hours of Tuesday. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, who are both 32 and live in the city centre, were last seen in Market Street at Victoria Bridge at about 2:12 am GMT on Tuesday. They then crossed the bridge, turned into a footpath next to the River Dee, and proceeded in the direction of Aberdeen Boat Club.
The Huszti sisters are both described as white, slim, and having long brown hair. They are being sought by the police, who are using police dogs and the marine unit in their search. Ch Insp Darren Bruce said the police are continuing to speak to people who know Eliza and Henrietta and urged anyone who has seen them or who has any information on their whereabouts to call 101, citing incident number 0735 of Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The police have carried out extensive searches throughout the city center and surrounding areas, with a particular focus on the Torry area, where they were last seen. The police are also urging local businesses to review CCTV footage from the South Esplanade and Menzies Road areas from the early hours of Tuesday to help identify any possible sightings of the sisters.
