A double-decker bus crashed into a railway bridge in the city centre of Glasgow, injuring eight people, with one person in a critical condition. The roof of the bus, which was a 4A First Bus, was partially torn off. The vehicle ended up stuck under the bridge on Cook Street, at the intersection with Commerce Street. The crash happened at approximately 6 pm on Saturday. ScotRail has cancelled, delayed or revised train services between Glasgow Central and Ardrossan Harbour, Ayr, Largs, Gourock, Wemyss Bay, and Paisley Canal.
