For the second year in a row, a Cambridgeshire market town has received a “wonky” Christmas tree. March Town Council claimed that after last year’s tree, residents inundated it with requests for another to be made. The council stated that it was not guaranteed to happen again, but it is now the case thanks to the supplier. Fans of last year’s “banana” tree will be pleased, with one resident suggesting that the old one ‘is a piece of history now’.

Daniel Fortuna, a local tree specialist, helped set up the wonky landmark. He said, “It was unusual for me to have around 20 people watching the operation today. Last year, there were only two. The council requested a wonky tree, and it definitely has got a lean.” Residents are now awaiting more celebrations of their unique Christmas tree in the future.
Last year’s tree was so famous that it is being auctioned off piece by piece to anyone wanting a remnant of the phenomenon. Locals like Emily Parkes are excited about the latest addition, hoping that it has become a tradition of a bending tree every year. As the years go by, it seems this world-renowned Christmas tree will be the thing people think of when they hear the name of March in Cambridgeshire, England
