Harshita Brella murder: Family tells BBC they want 'justice'


The mother of a woman who police believe was murdered by her husband before her dead body was left in a car boot in East London has told the BBC that justice for her daughter is all she wants. Harshita Brella, 24, was excited to join her husband, Pankaj Lamba, in the UK in April for an arranged marriage. Lamba was studying in London while Brella was working in a warehouse in Northamptonshire. Ms Brella’s family last spoke with her by phone on November 10th who said she was waiting for her husband to come home. When after two days her phone was not answered, they became concerned and asked for others help to launch a complaint. Ms Brella’s body was discovered after police were contacted by a family member regarding concerns for her safety.
