Labour has been in power for 100 days, and there have been some successes and failures, writes the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg. Some of the government’s policies, such as the nationalisation of railways, landed a strong blow for the red party, but they have faced criticism over winter fuel and freebies. Supporting the theory that the government has not quite found its feet, the absence of any defined message from the government has been criticised, with some ministers asking “now what?” Challenges with donations have also unhelpfully caught Labour off guard. Overall, the party still has a lot of time left in power, and has an enormous majority, which presents a unique opportunity, but they must focus on getting everybody firing on all cylinders
