North Yorkshire Police have issued a new CCTV image of a missing nurse, Victoria Taylor. Ms. Taylor, 34, disappeared from her home in Malton, North Yorkshire, on Monday, September 30th. Some of her items were afterwards discovered beside the River Derwent. The police are exploring the case of the disappearance of Ms. Taylor and have conducted extensive searches. At the time of her disappearance, there was a verified sighting of her at Malton Bus Station. The police have reported that Ms. Taylor’s family believes it is incredibly difficult for them.
Although previously caught on CCTV, the new image of Ms. Taylor, taken at the bus station, shows her wearing a camouflage green cap, brown rucksack, light blue jeans, and white trainers. She was carrying an undetermined item in her arms. The police have investigated the disappearance of Ms. Taylor and conducted extensive searches to locate any clues and information. Specialist sonar equipment and drones were deployed for intensive searches to locate Ms. Taylor.
There has been no suggestion of the involvement of a third party in her abduction at this stage. The police are still investigating the matter and treating it as a missing person’s case, even though her family fears foul play. Ms. Taylor’s sisters, Emma and Heidi, have stated that they are sick, distraught, and lost following the disappearance of their sister. Nonetheless, they expressed their gratitude to the emergency services for their contribution to the search effort.
North Yorkshire Police representative, Insp Martin Dennison, stated that the police remain open-minded about the investigation and urged caution for the local community wanting to help search for Ms. Taylor, particularly around the River Derwent.
