The 82-year-old victim was attacked at the junction of Stoke Road and Elliman Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. In addition, the department appealed specifically to motorists with dashcam footage of the incident. The police department reassured the public that there is no wider threat to the community.
The heartless attack on the elderly man has prompted a wave of sympathy and support from local residents, many of whom have donated money to help the victim’s family. The councilor for Central Slough, Madhuri Bedi, called the attack a “senseless act of violence” and expressed her condolences to the victim’s family.
