A series of explosions involving pagers held by members of Hezbollah took place across Lebanon on Tuesday. At least eight individuals have died and over 2,700 people have been injured in the blasts. According to the Financial Times, the sabotage of these devices – which the group uses to avoid Israeli surveillance – is an apparent act of aggression by Israel. Hezbollah has blamed Israel, but the country’s military has refused to comment on the allegations.
