Tickets to see the Oasis reunion tour were sold out in a matter of minutes on Saturday, with fans ecstatic at having the chance to see the band once again. Colin Broadbent from Wolverhampton and Sam from Staffordshire both secured tickets to see the band in 2025, during the final-chance sale for fans after thousands were angered last month when they queued for hours with no success. The online queues reduced to as little as 4,200 people, after many spent up to nine hours when trying to purchase tickets in the pre-sale back in August.
“I’m very happy I’ve managed to secure tickets at last,” said Colin, an Oasis fan who spent nine hours queuing for pre-sale tickets back in August, and will now get to see the band live with his wife at Wembley. “As an Oasis fan, I thought the day would never happen when they would get back together.”
The band’s reunion has been in the works since the Gallagher brothers put aside their differences for a one-off show to honor the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017. The additional tickets were made available for fans who missed out on the initial sales.
Sam, an avid fan, spent seven hours queuing in August before dropping out without tickets to the Heaton Park show, due to inflated prices. He expressed his joy at finally being able to see them again, having previously watched them at their final gig at V Festival back in 2009. Sam acknowledged fans’ concerns about the potential for the band to not give 100% when performing, however, he stated that supply is limited and that demand to see Oasis is still high.
The reunion tour is highly anticipated by fans around the world who have been waiting for almost a decade to see the band perform live again. Despite high prices and long queues, tickets sold out in record time, signaling that there is still a considerable amount of interest and support for Oasis’ music
