After the publication of the final report by the Grenfell Tower Inquiry on Wednesday, former residents Miguel Alvez and Antonio Roncolato are calling for action. The two men survived the devastating fire that claimed the lives of 72 people in 2017. Antonio was among the last residents to be rescued, and Miguel helped to warn his neighbors to leave the building.
Discussing the report with BBC correspondent Tim Muffett the morning after its publication, the two men promised to hold authorities accountable and ask the necessary questions to ensure that appropriate action is taken. Antonio declared, “This is our duty.”
